Hi, I have a Dell XPS 8100 1TB Desktop and was getting HDD errors when booting. I just bought a Seagate Barracuda 2TB internal HDD and a Samsung EVO 850 SSD 250GB. I need to transfer the OS to the SSD and the rest to my new HDD with two SATA wires. In what order should I transfer data and with which drives installed each time. My thought process was install Seagate and mirror current drive, then remove Seagate, then install SSD with current and transfer os, then hook up ssd to sata cord of 1TB drive and Seagate to 2nd sata cord. Not sure if this automatically works then? Please help. Thanks! I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
